My guitar buddy just finished up his latest album (you can find it on amazon.com in a week or so). One of the cool things about it? Your favorite monk is featured on one of the tracks as the solo riff! Ask me for the song if you're interested in an alt-rock bit.
Other news... Went to my high school's first home game to supervise the radio broadcasting crew, and somehow ended up playing the bass and snare drum for the pep band. Weird. I'm pretty sure less than 50% of the band today (only 7 were present) were actually involved in the music program. Aside from that, not much else except enjoying the weekend and glorious homework.
I'll post something more relevant to society next time.
