you and i were gonna live forever
hello livejournal!!! are you ready to rock? i said are you ready to rock? :P
for our 2 year anniversary, sunshine got me an amp (which i helped pay for cause they are expensive), a tuner, and a cord all to go along with my awesome bass guitar that i got for xmas - i just need my strap and i will be ready to rock! i am loving this...as frustrated as i get, i love it. and as frustrated as sunshine gets teaching me, i think he is happy that i am using the guitar and trying to learn. it's not like it's going to get me anywhere...there are no plans to start a band and travel the world. it's just something for me to learn and love. and love it i do. i am learning so many songs too...and they are surprisingly easy. i can play songs by:
- weezer
- all american rejects
- taking back sunday
- blink 182
- bush
- the used
- my chemical romance
- paramore
- bowling for soup
- something corporate
- hot hot heat
- finch
- avril lavigne (lol...lame)
- blur's song 2 (super easy)
and more!! the list just keeps on growing.
tomorrow i am "on call" for the bakery. i don't like being on call for 2 reasons (1) i'm not guaranteed shifts therefore no money next week :S (2) i think i have a day off and then i get called in therefore i feel all "gah why can't i take the day off!" - which is redonk cause i should take as many shifts as i can as i am in a financial hell hole. hmm...a sticky whicket i know.
i know i have more to talk about but meh, i'm tired. sears was a hard day today. people are just retarded and grumpy lately and i don't care that they can't read the signs properly. grumble grumble. but i didn't bring it home with me tonight...i could have, but i didn't. i was all calm. sunshine just knows that today was retarded. and i left it at that, got dinner, watched the jep and slapped da bass :P
if i have a day off tomorrow, i think i will mess about with my design software again. maybe print out some business cards and start messing about with invitation layout for jammer and bruan's nuptuals...maybe. sunshine will be going to class so i'll have the house to myself for a bit - YEAH! that there is an excuse to put on music he hates and get the dishes done...then i can play. yes, that works out better. sleepy time - it's midnight and i'm starting to turn into a pumpkin.
