Writer's Block: What is your favorite weird food combination? Have your friends ever tried it or do you only eat it in private?
...because I wanted to write in lj and i didn't know what to write about, so here is my answer...
i have 2 weird food combinations that i love and can't get enough of. the first, and foremost, is if i am eating ice cream at dq or mcd's, i love to have french fries with it and dip the french fries into the ice cream. i have no idea why it tastes so good to me, but it does. i mainly do it with just mcds sundaes (not so much dq) because mcds fries are so salty and delicious. maybe that's why it tastes so good...the sweet and salty combo in my mouth. the second food combo i can't get enough of is a recent one of mine (well, recent enough). i discovered it 4-5 years ago at halloween when i was living on my own for the first time. i had a box of those nestle mixed chocolate bars (smarties, aero, kit kat and coffee crisp) but i also wanted some chips too. so i had some dill pickle chips first. and then i ate some chocolate after. and then i just came to realize how delicious the chocolate was after the dill pickle chips. so i guess that isn't really a combo but its one of those "one right after the other" kinda thing...whatever that means! dang it. now i am hungry for all of the above :P
well, i shall go finish making meatballs because it is meatball mondays and that's what we have. and then i think after supper i'm gonna attempt to make some homemade mac & cheese (just to have for the rest of the week). i've never made it before but ray's sister told me how she makes hers and it sounds easy enough...and i'm not a complete idiot in the kitchen...i can figure some things out.
