Y'all, I fell asleep with the TV on, like, literally five minutes before the relay last night. Sad! Thankfully, NBC's olympics site has really good video available, so that's cool.
On the subject of the Olympics, BT and I are having a major battle over the remote for the "good" TV the past few nights. He sort of only cares about the basketball and some of the track events, so he's pretty much nonplussed by my sitting on the sofa as soon as the baby goes to sleep and, like, crying whenever someone wins something or they play a David Cook song. It got nasty last night because although I DID want to watch Generation Kill, THAT'S WHAT TIVO IS FOR. Sigh.
Speaking of GK, by the way, rumor has it that Colbert is going to be in that new HBO series, True Blood (which I know close to nothing about, except for the press about their marketing campaign). THAT IS AWESOME. And there will be sexxin' in this show, right? Sorry, I need to see that guy making out with someone, like, yesterday.
Have I talked about Kashi frozen meals here before? Allow me to do so! They're awesome, for the record. (I know that frozen-to-microwave meals are not generally the pinnacle of good health, but I make my daughter's food every day, so having to make something for myself too makes me want to weep.) Relatively low sodium but high protein and high fiber. Even the vegan ones are filling. BUT! Today I tried a new (to me) flavor, and THERE WERE MUSHROOMS IN IT. Like, it didn't say so on the front of the box, and you couldn't tell from the picture, but THEY WERE THERE. And I gagged a little. Grode.
This is the most pointless LJ entry ever. While I'm off to go work on that threesome fic some more, does anyone have any of the following (very random, but there's a secret connection!) tunes on mp3? Thank you for ever and ever if so. ♥ ♥ ♥
