Okay, now this is just funny. I'm in the airport this evening, and turns out that the bar is closed in the terminal that my gate is in. Which kind of sucks, but whatever: I figure I shouldn't be drinking so much anyway, and I'll get a beer when I get to my destination and grab dinner.

IT IS A DRY COUNTY.
WTF?????? Outside of Lynchburg, I didn't realize they even HAD those anymore. Oh, god. This is seriously karmic retribution for something, I tell you what. Perhaps the fact that I haven't left or responded to comments or feedback in, like, a week. Anyway. I left a $7 tip on my $10 dinner bill to make up for the expression I must have given my waitress when she told me that. AHAHHAHAHA.
(Also, this place doesn't have the CW.)
Um, anyway, so obviously I am on a business trip on the heels of the Thanksgiving trip from Hell, but I'll be home tomorrow and will start being a productive member of fandom once again.
Oh, and ALSO: how freakin' awesome is craigslist? Seriously. I had to get rid of some tickets for a concert tonight since, obviously, I was not in town, and I posted an ad yesterday and got three replies within like two minutes of it going live, and then ten more before I could remove it. Craziness! Awesome!
I think maybe this county should set up a craigslist just for illegal booze trafficking, actually.
ETA: I forgot to mention that the "compact" car that Avis gave me is a Mustang. AHAHHAHAHAHAH!
