Crap. Watched my DVR of last week's Grey's and it cut out RIGHT BEFORE you see who comes out of the door in the hotel. Any ideas where I could catch just the end without having to DL the whole thing? I futzed around YouTube and couldn't find anything.
Speaking of TV, yay! Friday Night Lights and Veronica Mars both premiere tonight. FNL is my only new show this year, I think. (Except The Office, which is just new to me.) I love Ron Livingston, but I tried Standoff and couldn't get into it. I'm tempted by Heroes, just because all y'all keep talking about it, but.
Okay, here's the thing. I've decided I can only really get into a show if there's at least one person I find really attractive on it. There are exceptions to this rule, but they are limited to HBO dramas -- Sopranos, Rome, Deadwood -- all of which I really enjoy, but mostly because BT and I watch those together. Otherwise ... yeah. I can't think of another show I've ever really watched religiously when I didn't have at least a minor crush on one of the characters. (PS, my Grey's crush is Alex, because I am a sucker!)
Whatever, I'm a shallow loser. And I do appreciate shows for something other than the eye candy, but it's a prerequisite for drawing me in. So. I guess my question, re Heroes, is: is anyone other than Ali Larter hot?
Speaking of hot, I am so in love with my outfit today: tailored red-and-white-striped button-down under a short-sleeve grey cable-knit sweater ($14 at Gap! can't beat it), dark jeans, and red pointy-toe slingback heels. Hey! It's date night.
Alright. I have a fic re-beta to look at, a few spn_flashback fics to archive, and one more fannish obligation to finish this weekend (insallah) but other than that I am free, FREE of SPN fandom commitments. I can pull the dudemeter together. I can dig up some old co-writing stuff and maybe get that in posting shape. I can poke around some WIPs or start something new altogether. Freedom!
