Driveby posting, part II
Saw Avengers yesterday! It was good. That Jeremy Renner is a fine, fine man. I ... really don't have anything else to say about that, lol!
[Regarding those Star Trek reboot spoilers...]So...yes, the whole Cumberbatch-as-Khan thing is Not A Good Idea for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that Wrath of Khan is basically a classic that doesn't need to be touched. But what if he's not actually playing Khan, but instead, it's just a reboot of the Khan concept (genetically-engineered yada yada)? Maybe that's not so bad?
And of course I knew that the second I posted some Sherlock recs I'd read something else I wanted to include. This is a WIP origins story for John and Sherlock AND I LOVE IT. TOTAL HEARTS-IN-EYES. I love this author's headcanon for Sherlock's backstory (especially) and John is kind of a dick, which is totally not unbelievable, and yes. I stayed up WAY TOO LATE reading this last night.

Anyone have other interesting backstory recs, maybe particularly for Sherlock? I think I was following an unfilled prompt on the kinkmeme about a late-teens Sherlock summering in France and Coming Of Age, and I want that with the fire of a million trillion suns.
