I have so much to tell
I now know the glory that is Ikea!
Todd and i went there not thinking we would buy anything.....
but we came back with 2 stools, a desk, 4 plates, 4 bowls,2 journals, a green rolly bin, 5 things to organize papers with, a 20 piece silver wear set, a strainer AND 2 FUNNELS!!!! And all under $100 !
I also just had my dance recital for all my dance classes that i teach. They did amazing! There was a performance for the school in the day and then a performance at night for the parents. After the evening show they gave me roses and thanked me for all my patience with them and told me i was the coolest teacher and how much they would miss me!I almost started crying when they all came up and gave me hugs. I will miss them so much!
The day after that I get a call from my aunt sandy from california. She tells me that if todd and i can come out sometime before new years and pick up my cousin's (who lives in mesa now)bed set and take it back to him , she will give us $200. So it worked out perfectly because we are in between jobs currently, so this past weekend we went to california. It was fun hanging out with my favorite aunt and my favorite gay cousin :). I started having ideas that todd and i should move there , but todd talked me out of it. On our way back we ran out of gas 15 miles from blythe! fortunately we rolled right to a call box. The call box lady said they would send out a tow truck with gas, but she did not know how much it would be. Fifteen minutes go by and a cop comes , right after the tow truck comes. The tow truck man then tells us he can sell us 2 gallons of gas for $146 !! Thank god for the cop(phillip, who looked like the big guy from Green Mile) he gave us a ride to and from the gas station and let me take a picture with him!
