Well, this week hasn’t been much of fun, nor excitement for that fact. Most of the time I’d be working, or working out, and with no social life. It all changed when I went for a trip to Columbia, Maryland to visit Arina.
Well, for starters, the plane was scheduled to take off at around 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. So mom came home early to take my to the airport. I have everything packed and was all revved up and ready to go. I got there, and had no problem with airport security or anything of that sort. The flight was pretty safe, and I got there all safe (physically and mentally). The only aspect of the flight that bothered me was the fact that I sat next to two girls that were probably just going through middle school. They argued with each other, and the older one would pick on the younger one. Thank God I had the window seat. I just put on my headphone and zoned out of the phone flight.
Afterwards, I got there around 4 o’clock, so a pretty fast flight. Only one hour. The plane got there 45 minutes early, but they made us stay in the plane for that 45 minutes. I wanted to break the windows and just jump out. Anyways! Arina picked my up in her Volkswagen Jetta and we were off on the highway to speed back to her place. Everything seemed to have been going the right way until she missed her exit. We tried to go back because for about 10 miles there weren’t going to be a single exit. So we tried to make a U-turn on one of those paths in the middle of two highways (even though it said authorized vehicles). Just as we were going to merge, an unmarked cop car pulls up right next to us, and threatens to give us a ticket if we don’t turn around and head back. We do, but it was hard as hell.
After that, we missed a few more exits. Humorous as it may seem, it was very frustrating, because looking back on it, we spent over 4 hours in the car just getting from the airport back to her place. Well! We got dinner on the way back, and picked up her mother form the hospital (no she wasn’t sick, she worked there).
TOM.
