(no subject)
Ok so I may as well update as Steve has given me repeated yelled orders to.
I'm still working the mind-numbing, soul-crushing job. It's gotten kind of more boring since they took half my job away and gave it to a computer. Now they're threatening (more suggesting, but i don't like the suggestion) that my department's going to be doing filing now too... This means taking stacks of paper and making sure they get put in the right box. This is a necessary job, to be sure... Just boring as hell. The other Kevin came into work the other day and quit outright. That sure was satisfying as seeing he really sucked at work. I've got my "corporate retreat" this Saturday during the day. 8 extra hours of paid time... it might be time and half too...
Me, Keith, and Jay Rog are looking into moving in together now. We almost had a nice house over in Lowell that Jay would've owned, but the terms of the mortgage would've been like getting a fiery poker up the arse.
I haven't had much of life lately. Just been hanging out with Jay Rog, Keith, and Rob mostly. Me and Keith went down the Cape with Spez this weekend though. We met up with Spez in Fitchburg then bounced down to the cape. Got in there around 1:30 AM... NO TRAFFIC! WOOOOOO!
We went to the beach Saturday. I got some color and some sunburn. Actually went in the water too. Tried my hand at boogie boarding. Didn't do too well. That nite we went to Mr & Mrs Spez's friend's house. Me and Spez played ping pong and drank beer. Then we listened to Mr. Spez and Spez's Godfather jam out on their acoustic guitars. Many Beatles songs were played.
Sunday we went to the Eastham Flea Market. I got a Larry Bird Starting Lineup figure and me and Keith went halves on a bootleg Green Day CD that was recorded during a radio performance they did before Dookie even came out. Then we went back to Spez's house, ate lunch, then went to the beach again. I did much better at boogie boarding this time. That nite me, spez, and Keith went to a seafood place for dinner. Took Spez's sister and her friend along with us for the food. After that we just went back to Spez's, watched Family Guy, and then crashed out. We're sooooo effing old.
Today we got up, had breakfast, then went and got firewood for the fire that Spez and Keith and buncha other people are gonna have tomorrow nite down there. I had to come home since I have to work tomorrow. And also because I wanted to go see Krystal McDonald. She had her Grandmother's wake today, and it's always good to have your friends around when shit happens like that.
Warped Tour was a coupla weeks back. I really hope next year's is better. Have like "Warped Tour Revival" or something. Too many hipster, emo-core, and whiny ass pop-punk bands. Don't get me wrong. I like SOME of that music. But definetely in moderation. I just kinda wanted to start beating the shit out people.
Also the band Fallout Boy has made my shitlist cuz I'm pretty sure their bass player yelled out "Dropkicks fucking suck!" I will cut off his fucking head for that. But of course Dropkick Murphys played the best set of the day... followed closely by The Offspring surprisingly enough.
OK that's all I'm willing to type for right now. I'll post more often hopefully. Just give me interesting things to do! Then I'll write about them!
