(no subject)
i finally got my extra kitchen stuff packed up and moved downstairs, so the kitchen seems much bigger. my room is still a mess, but cest la vie.
i'm heading down to DC this weekend to go toobing with my friend Abigail. I didn't realize quite how far it was, I was just excited to get invited somewhere. So I ended up buying a train ticket that was more expensive than i'd like, but at least the I can relax instead of driving and getting road rage. I hope it turns out to be a fun time! I need to pack actually but I'm procrastinating.
My friend basically got dumped today by a girl he was starting to date, and I felt like I got dumped. He is a great guy (my co-worker) and one of my best friends up here. I wish he could figure things out. Oh well, such is the life of a single person.
I have a potential date next week with a guy from match, who seems fun. We've had a few IM convos the past few days, so hopefully we can hold a conversation. Some people you can just talk to, and hang with, and it just works out. Sometimes, not so much. So, we'll see.
I'm getting sleepy and I'm going into work early tomorrow so I can leave early for the train, so I should get packing. Have a good weekend kids!
