My life has been feeling a little off lately so, maybe I need to this year.
I Resolve To...
*Enjoy my beautiful children more and worry about making them respectable citizens less.
*Work on acceptance and joy instead of disappointment and struggling with who I am and what happens in my life.
*Remember the birthdays of my family and friends... before the day is over.
*Find a church and attend it with my children.
*Plant a garden; at least pumpkins, tomatoes, onions, green beans and some flowers to cut, because that's what my daughter wants.
*Argue less, yell less, laugh and snuggle more more more.
*Save a little money somehow, instead of spending every last cent of every single paycheck.
*Give more compliments, make fewer wittty but snide observations - in essence, gossip less.
*Even though I am addicted, keep less sugary crap in the house and serve less of it to my kiddos
*Go on at least one date a month with my husband.
*Find an agent or publisher for my children's book.
*Work on the novel.
*Get at least one more poem or article published in a periodical.
*Continue to exercise, but remind myself daily that I am attractive and sexy even with a softer "mommy" body.
*Be here now - not just present, but really live in the moment. (This includes spending less time online, eep!, because there is life outside my computer.
Bottom line...Be more positive, less negative. More light and growth, less dark and stagnant.
2008 is gonna be great! Say it with me now...2008 is gonna be great!
I am going to work hard to make it so.
And...Happy Almost 2008 to all of my friends!
