Livejournal...What's it really for. Certainly not conversation, definitely not to pour out all your gut wrenching self realization, and absolutely not for people who depend on replies on every/anything they post. Think about it; you log in and see what your friends are up to, you're amused, amazed, have advice to give or just want to let them know you saw that entry. God help anyone who posts entries expecting to get some response and gets none. Anytime that kind of person gets no response, it will equate that no one cares/ they aren't important/ etc.
If you or someone you know fits that profile, that's if they'll fess up it's potentially embarrassing after all, pay some special attention to them. You must convince them that "LiveJournal" is not Life and the only Live part of it is that you have to be Living to post/reply. How many times have you gotten together with your LJ pals and said or heard "hey did you read ____ LJ?" Keep it in perspective y'all we can keep limited "tabs" on one another but LJ isn't Life. It lets us share "peaks" of "Lifettes" and that is all.
