Ebay is dangerous
My new years resolution is to avoid online retailers.
I thought I'd share my last (for a while) purchase from ebay that I received today.
I got 26 uncirculated banknotes from different countries from A-Z. The countries are:
Afghanistan
Argentina (bond)
Belarus
Bosnia
Burma
Burundi
China
Croatia
Egypt
Great Britain (armed forces voucher)
Indonesia
Iran
Iraq
Laos
Mongolia
Myanmar
Nicaragua
North Korea
Poland
Russia (note is from a huge ponsy scheme)
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan
Uganda
Vietnam
Yugoslavia
Zambia
Some are obsolete, some have no true value (see notes in parenthesis). But I collect foreign currency and for the price I couldn't pass this up. For the countries I already had in my collection, I managed to either get older obsolete currency or other denominations which is lucky.
Now I need to update my huge document where I log all of my foreign currency. I have to figure out a way to put it in a spreadsheet instead of the word document, but with current and obsolete currency in coins and banknotes, it's almost easier to keep my current way of logging it all.
So, nothing important, just wanted to share. If you want to see pics of any of these, let me know and I'll take some.
