why artists starve
I do not want to spend $50 on a bunch of little pieces of paper in lots of hues, tints, and shades. Unfortunately it seems that I have no choice.
We are doing color theory in class. I have studied color theory extensively and have quite a good grasp on it. Even if I was completely new to the subject, there are cheaper, more effective, practical, and interesting ways to learn it than making a color wheel with a $50 box of little colored papers.

This is tedious, boring, expensive, and unnecessary.
