I need your opinion..

Let me start off by saying I'm pretty sure I can handle this, but I'm scared.

Basically I got a phone call yesterday from the Berkeley Rep. They asked me if I could work crew on a rental in July. I said sure, send me the info. I got my email with info today, and they want me to STAGE MANAGE! The show is a dance show, and although I've been IN dance shows, I've never stage managed one before. And I would have a light op and a sound op and just have to call cues and do the stage-managerial thing. Like running tech. Which is only 4 hours long and is the day of the first performance. I'm pretty sure I can handle it but I'm nervous, with it being in a space I'm not familiar with and people I haven't worked with before... Of course I come "highly recommended by Christopher" the Managing director of Berkeley Rep (for whom I've stage managed before, but not at Berkeley Rep)....

I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world if I screwed up. And I know what I'm doing enough to not COMPLETELY ruin the show... I've only called cues in one other show before this... it's actually a lot easier than running sound and having to worry about balances, etc.... I don't know. I guess I just got nervous. Like, excited and scared. And I need you to reassure me that I'm good so that I can go work at Berkeley Rep and kick some ass..... but I'm scared.
