(no subject)
this weekend i went to CHBC and it was AMAZING!!!!
Me Rose KT Courtney and Lauren got there around 1:30. we checked in.. there were only 20 people there this weekend. we stayed in Eglebretson!!! and so did the boys..
we all changed and took the swim test.. then from there we went and did tons of stuff at the low ropes course.. we played a name game for like 2 hours but it was fun.. i was crying claire.. it was kinda like outdoor ed for those 3 hours of low ropes.. but everyone there was hilarious..
after that we went to dinner.. and we got to eat at GBC instead of the lodge.. it was soo different.. not like camp at all.. we didn't have to clean up after our selves.. and there were always enough spoons.. haha..
after dinner we had 12:2. we had 38 Acres.. a band.. all to ourselves in upper englebretson.. it was soo cool. and there was reallly really really hot guy who played the bongos.. we called him bongo boy.. and he had his eyebrow pierced.. it was sooo coool.and the main singer and the bassist had 3 kids and the baby boy named jeremiah was the cutest little boy i've ever seen.. he would go on stage while they were playing and try to play the "bums".. sooo cute.. the speaker's name was Duffy.. a short white guy who was bald on top.. he was like "i knew what you were all thinking when i walked up here.. this guy's a rapper" it was hilaroius..
after 12:2 we played ultimate frisbee in the dark on the big field. we got glow in the dark bracelets and the frisbee was also glow in the dark.. we had this kid eric on our team.. he had a mohawk and a lip ring and he was walking around with his shirt up.. he was like BOOBS! and he was like this was actually how i got mauri to go out with me.. i was walking around with my boobs out and she just couldn't resist me.. it was soo funny.. so i actually caught some frisbees.. but i can't throw.. it was fun.. but it lasted forever!!!
after the game we went back to our cabins.. mauri was sick so she fell asleep.. and heather and tarin went to sleep.. so me rose kt courtney emily and our consuelor who was super cool, shawna, all stayed up and did devos and then just talked and told funny stories for like 2 hours.. me and kt shared a bed and courtney and rose shared a bed..and these beds are sooo tiny.. haha courtney was like "this is what it would be like if we were married" haha.. so we were really loud all night.. and i accidentally shoved a flashlight in kt's eye.. then we finally fell asleep.
SATURDAY!
me rose kt courtney and lauren woke up at 7:30 and went to the lake.. rose kt and courtney went waterskiing and me lauren nick and jake(realy really creepy kid who stared ALOT) went wakeboarding.. i stood up twice and went out of the wake! wooo.. rob scott drove our boat.. he's sooo funny and really good at waterskiing.. and he's from napervilee too.. only he went to north.
after that we went to breakfast..
after breakfast we had 2 hours of lake/tubing stuff.. i went tubing twice.. the first time with courtney and lauren.. it was soo much fun.. i'm sooo sore and have so many bruises.. haha.. then we all played on the water trampoline.. they got a new thing that's log that you can run on in the water.. it's sooo fun. and the HOT LIFE GUARDS WERE THERE THE WHOLE TIME! ahh BRAD and JAKE... and i saw JAY!! he's soooo hot.. soo then me rose shawna and nick went tubing.. me and rose shared a tube.. jake was driving our boat driver and he had no mercy.. it was crazy.. i didn't do anything but we were going in such a fast circle i was just on the other tube.. it was soo much fun. then we went back on the water tramp.. then in the deep-end and we layed on the raft and tanned until we had to go in at 11:15..
we had 12:2.. we played a weird props game.. 38 acres played.. duffy talked.. it was sooo long.. then we had lunch..
after lunch we had quiet time.. it wasn't the usual quiet time.. we had an hour.. of quiet outside with god.. it was okay.. it kinda went by fast. but huge ants kept attacking me..
after quiet time we had an hour of free time up by the big hill. we did arts and crafts.. then me rose kt went to the skatepark.. i was better at ollieing than BRAD (hottest life guard ever!) then we went and did archery.. all the guys were there.. max (who was hot in a weird way that you can't put your finger on) was really really good.
then we changed into our bathing suits and had 2 hours of freetime on the waterfront. all the hot life guards were on the raft with us.. HEATH LEGDER LIFEGUARD sat by me!! ahh he's soo hot.. after that we had dinner.me and kt ate 6 saltines in under a mintue!! and they siad it was impossible.. after dinner we had sumo wrestling.. it was the funniest thing i've ever seen.. the camp just bought huge sumo suits you couldn't move in.. and if you feel down you coudln't get up.. me and kt fought.. it was sooo much fun..
after sumo we had 12:2.. it was fun.. serious though.. we had a bridge builing contest.. haha me kt lauren neil and max were in a group.. we didn't even make a bridge.. we just ate the noodles and the marshmellows.. haha.. then neil and max started swaying for a song and made us get up with them.. we were serioudly swaying for 45 minutes straight.. it was horrible.. but then we had fast fun songs.. so we all got hyper..
then at 10:15 we had a campfire.. after the campfire we all went in and packed.. then heather and tarin and mauri and shawna went to sleep.. so me rose kt courtney and emily went downstairs and hung out with the whole guys cabin and their leader jake the whole night..
we played ping pong and took funny pictures.. and they kept farting on each others heads.. max did it the funniest i've ever seen.. it was awesome.. then the guys tried to shave jakes chest hair.. he was like 8 guys on his.. and he beat all of there asses.. it was awesome.. then the guys had to go to bed.. so me rose kt courtney and emily all stayed up talking and doing handstands and dancing.. then nick and jake went to sleep in another empty cabin cuz the guys were being loud and "they had a big day tommrow".. so they fell asleep and we went in there room playing secret agents.. and they woke up.. and courtney was like i;m just preparing you for your big day tommrow.. it was sooo funny.. so we all eventualy went to sleep at 2:30
SUNDAY :(
woke up at 7:30.. packed up our last stuff.. and put it in front of the carriage house.. and then went to breakfast..
after breakfast we all sat in the boathouse until 9:30.. then we had the closing ceremony in tent.. then we ran around and took picutres till my dad got there and then we went home..
i got home and got my cell phone fixed.. then tanned.. then went to nicole's and hung out with her and maggie.. i got my ass beat by nicole.. haha.. then we went home and ate dinner..
but i was sooo tired so i stayed home all night and watched t.v and went to bed at 10.. but i'm sooo sore from tubing i didn't have to go to practice this morning!!
and it's 4 o'clock and i'm still not doing anything cuz i have no life.. woo hoo.. this was wayy to long.. and took me an hour to do but....
I LOVE CHBC!!!! and i wanna work there at the waterfront next summer and that would be the highlight of my entire life... no joke
