Well, I missed day 2. But whatever, my favorite character is the King of All Cosmos. Because he's awesome and his cape is stylin'. But today is day 3. So..
Culdcept. This game never gets any attention, but it's fantastic. I've mentioned it before, but in case you didn't see it: it's basically a CCG (like Magic or Pokemon) mixed with Monopoly. You create a deck, and then go around a board with colored spaces. Your oppenent(s) are doing the same thing. You place monsters to claim spots, and do battle if you land on a spot that your opponent has already claimed. You can use weapons to power up your monsters, spells to hinder your opponent or help yourself. You're trying to get to a certain monetary gold by defeating your opponent in battle or crossing "go" faster and more frequently than your opponent.
It's pretty much a perfect concept. It suffers from a few technical problems -- mostly that the computer AI cheats to make up for lack of strategy. Also, games of Culdcept are rarely short. I've played some that went upwards of 2.5 hours.
However, that's still a lot less than a game of Monopoly, or Robo Rally, or a lot of the other games my friends and I play on an actual tabletop. But Culdcept requires no board to be set up, no extra money to be spent on cards, and no clean-up afterwards. The PS2 version was playable with up to 4 players via a controller adapter (the PS2 only has 2 controller ports) and the Xbox 360 version is playable online.
Not only that, but you get gorgeous card art, an intriguing world mythology, and poorly-translated card descriptions that are hilarious without being hard to understand.
