Sudden Urge
K, I had a total sudden urge to type a new LJ entry for today. I just finished eating dinner and I was watching the news with my parents during dinner. They showed and talked about the situation in New Orleans. It is sooooo sad!!! Aaaah! I mean there were chronically ill patients trapped in the local hospital for days. Patients that could have lived but died because there was craziness and they couldn't be cured or taken care of the right way. Paople are without jobs because of this sitch. It's just so sad. Oh and the mayor of New Orleans is just such a crappy mayor. He's talking like an immature teen. That's so not the right way to act. I just can't believe what these people are going through!!! They are seriously living in hell right now. I mean it must just be a nightmare. I know it would be for me anyway. Well anywho, I'm just glad to know that people are helping out and donating money and such. For instance, I found out today that Hilary Duff donated some thousand dollars to the fund for this situation, and nicholas Cage donated a million dolars!!! I thought that was great, and that they should donate money, because with all their money they might as well use it for something useful. I'm also glad that there are people in this world like Toli, who care enough about this stuff to get worried about it and want to take serious action. I love you Toli!!!! You are the bestest big sis ever!! Loves to ya!!! Well, I think that satisifes my urge, so with nothing else said, I'm out!!! ~Megs
