I just hate it when people from work text me, asking me to call them back. It's not the cost of the call (I'm not that petty).. I just don't like this one particular person and I know he's going to ask me for a shift swap, probably on a weekend. And I'll be too weak to say no. Geh.
This morning, I found out that typos made in conversations can make me squirm and made my cheeks turn red. I'm looking at a screen for God's Sake! Maybe it's because I'll be meeting the woman in question (
filthwizard) this week that makes typos like "if you let me have a look at it [her new digi-cam], I'll try and make tit work" very embarrassing. Especially when I hide my squirmishness and try to go full pelt with " *twiddles tit* ello radio luxembourg."
Hmmm...
I will be speaking with Kerry today. Last night, she did something incredibly cool. She debuted as a club singer on an "open mic" night. It all transpired this week. She met a guy online who plays in a band. They don't need a drummer (Kerry plays them), but they need a singer. She was asked to try out, even though the gruelling schedule of the band is not conducive to a single mother. So she agreed to go, just for a laugh, for the experience. She took a friend of hers as a safeguard against any funny business that this guy might pull. She got home very late (4am) and left me an e-mail, saying it went really well. I've not doubts, she has a wonderful singing voice. Apparently, she sang Meredith Brooks' "Bitch". She's feisty!
