Swarmed in the face!

Oooooh. So I went frogging last night, like I do. Our wetlands at the Green Swamp finally have water in them. Yippee!
Downside to this...I was swarmed by mosquitos, in the face! Now I look like I have the chicken pox which makes me embarassed to go grocery shopping in case I make the other shoppers or check out people afraid that I am deathly contagious. But I went anyways because i needed food and noone looked uncomfortable...maybe they could tell that I was swarmed in the face by mosquitos...who knows.

Saw some cool stuff last night and one not so cool thing, here is the list:

Cool things:

Baby gator on the side of the road in a ditch

Coyote that ran across the road (wtf? who knew there were coyotes in Florida? It was my first coyote sighting ever and it was awesome!)

Large barred owl sitting on log somewhat in the middle of the road

Not so cool thing:

Dead rottweiler (sp?) on the side of the highway

Luckily I did not get out of the car to look at it like Neal did. He was too curious...He thought it was a wild pig but it was not...

And there were frogs calling up the wazoo! In our wetlands! Yay! :)

Oh pine woods treefrogs, how I love your Morse code/machine gun esque calls.

Next time I will tell you guys about meeting the boyfriends parents in Virginia, it was good. :)
