I love froggies!
Keola and I went frogging last night at Harriman Pond (an awesome pond/park in my neighborhood).
The spring peepers have been peeping like crazy for several nights now, as it has rained alot and they are happy. My brother let me borrow his new headlamp, which was super awesome (yeah LEDs!). And we found many adorable little spring peepers.
Then we heard another sort of frog calling all crazily and they turned out to be Southern Leopard frogs. I also saw a couple of snakes, swimming through the puddles of standing water in the grass. I think one of them was a mud snake.
Yeah, I love going out frogging it is so great.
I accidentally ignored Keola at first though because I was so excited to look for the frogs, and he didn't have the proper shoes for being in the water. But then he took his socks of and got his shoes all wet, and caught a leopard frog and i was very proud of him. ;)
Good times.
Yesterday was the memorial service for Damien, my former dance teacher. It was lovely. They showed many video clips of him dancing and of dances he had choreographed. He was deffinitely the best dance teacher I've ever had. So sad that he had to leave us at such a young age (30). But he certainly lived life to its fullest. He was the most alive person I've ever met in fact. Farewell Damien.
PS- All of the Hanson brothers are officially married off. Isaac (the oldest) got married recently. It is the end of an era. *sigh* Hehe :)
