Moving West
Since posting last, we've played some really crappy venues and had some quite bad shows. Virginia Tech was a hellish situation. Hand-carried in every piece of deck and every piece of set by 17 year old tweenies. It turns out the more union crew that we have the better.
We've had decent weather from n.c. to nashville to missouri. Now we are in beautiful colorado! The bus has been fun, 12 people closed together in one space to survive. Of course most situations involve just trying to sleep a bit.
...and drink.
Nashville, TN was amazing. Beautiful town, nice people, and we spent a night in a blues bar where "josh garrett and the bottom line" played. It was a night of all nights. Great to just enjoy myself and the area. Met some of the flyman's friends and ate at a waffle house. I've been enjoying the college towns and small shops around.
The next few weeks are packed full of one nighters and i should be fairly spent. I don't plan on sleeping.
All in all the road is amazing and i can't wait to see the next bunch of states!!!
