New Years Eve

So here I sit another eve, at work. Not so bad this time around.. I have a few things to keep me occupied, and since the people sitting around me are off this week.. I don't feel so guilty wasting the day away on the internet. I have about 5 calls to make, and one meeting at 1PM with a family.

I wanted to put some new years resolutions out there to help force myself to keep them..

1. Work Out. So like everyone in the world, I'm making this my resolution yet again. I was doing so well for a little bit, but then I lost the urge. But I want to get back into the groove.. I'm going to start with 30 mins on the tredmill or bike. Now that my brother has Wii Fit, I'm going to try and incorporate that into my work out to. I'm quickly seeing my body change with every year.. and now I just want to keep myself healthy.

2. Cut out the Sodas. This one is a biggy for the one before. I'm going to try and go a week without soda, and see how it affects my day at work. Starting next Monday, I'm going soda free.. and continue on from there. You see when I was in college, I was too cheap to buy the soda so I would only drink water.. now that I work, I started having one a day for lunch, for a little caffine rush for mid-day. But then it quickly turned into having one everytime we go out to eat. So I want to get back into the habit of only drinking water.

3. Start looking into Grad programs. I'm not ready to quit and go on.. but I'm ready to start looking and weighing my options. This job is not what I want to do for the rest of my life, but it is a good learning experience. When I move on, I want to be ready for what's next.

4. Read more. I want to get back into reading, I haven't read a whole book in forever.. I start a new one, and never finish them. So I want to get back into reading books.. maybe I can incorporate that into the work out time, read and bike? worth a shot.

And that's where it's at for 2009. Wow. Have a wonderful start to the new year everyone! :) Here is to NO hangovers!
