Dell is crap
Alright, so many years ago I got a Dell laptop that I'm actually typing on now. I had many a problem with it and their support and I vowed never own another piece of crap like that again. I won't bore anyone with the details as I've hashed that one out time and time again.
Fast forward to a few months ago when I arrive in Japan and realize said Dell won't be peppy enough for me to do what I want. It's old. Since we had enough money at the time we decided to get a new laptop over here. Try as I might it was impossible to find an affordable computer nearby or know where to order one online except.. you guess it. Dell. So begrudgingly I ordered it, got a really good deal, and prayed to any available deity that Dell Japan would be better than Dell America.
Oh how wrong I was.
After having the thing for a few short months, there's evidently something wrong with the motherboard that prevents me from plugging in speakers and having them work correctly. The Windows driver is trying to do something funny too. The speaker jack should be a HARDWARE thing, not a driver thing. So the thing is on a truck or in a warehouse somewhere now. If anything comes back not working, HEADS WILL ROLL BITCH!!!
Just saying.
Plus now I have like no entertainment cause there's nothing to do in the first place, but even less without a good computer.
Also, today has been the worst day in the history of man. I'm glad it's over.
