Ah yes...suspense, conflict, the Act 2 terribleness...they sort of go out the window when you try to keep things cheery and light as I do, which is why I need to totally rewrite Coffeeman someday. I swear, I go back and read my fiction and I'm like, "NEEDS MORE CONFLICT!" which is totally the reverse of my everyday existence, where I'm all about not feeding the angry wolf, even if it means I end up with a bloody nose.
