A big snow cake!
It's The Puppy's birthday today, two years of bouncy crazy love, and I've been under it for all but three months. AWW!
Here are pictures of the terrible things we do to her:
We don't have as much ice on the ground as people in the midwest have gotten (...yay...), but it's enough for me to look out there and think twice about going out the door...which is too bad as I'm the designated go-fer if there's anything in the basement we need. Out in the basement, we have a cabinet that we keep all the things people usually keep in their kitchen, and a deep freezer. I can honestly say that being out in the yard was warmer than looking for a veggie burger in that freezer yesterday. I'm not complaining, it means the thing's working, but man, I'll wear some protective gear on the next expedition out for a package of fries.
The only fun thing about the snow being totally frozen over is that your can walk on it and play Legolas. *ahem* I mean you don't leave any footprints. Yes.
