Zidane walked onto campus for the first time in a few days. He had been out and about, and hadn't even bothered to stop by his dorm for anything. He had always kept an eye out for specific blonde woman though, keeping the packet he had to give her rolled up in his back pocket

After a few wrong turns, and Paine's grouchy directions, Rikku drug them both onto the stage just as someone finished reciting something.
"Ohhh nooo! We're late!" Rikku cried, as usual completely forgetting to keep her voice down. She wheeled around to face Paine, her face screwed up in the most worried look she could manage... coupled with the puppy-dog paws. "Paaaaiiine! What're we gonna do?"

Great, she just had to lead us onto the stage. Like we didn't have enough attention brought to us as it was
She heaved a sigh, and pulled Rikku down into the auditorium and the closest seets. She would have prefered the back, but everyone was already watching them. "We're going to sit and be quiet."
Note to self: Pick up duct tape after class. Something told her she was going to need a lot of it this semester.

"But... it looks interactive!" she whispered, for once keeping her voice down. "Maybe we're supposed to like... recite it back!" She looked around frantically, trying to see if she knew anyone nevermind the fact that the only people she knew on campus were Paine and Yuna. "Ooo! Ooo! Professor!" she called out, waving her hand in the air.

When he looked up he noticed the two girls who hadn't been in the auditorium when the classes started. "Please, call me Zidane. I take it you two are new? We're reciting memorized poems, and since you two wern't here to get the packet, I'll let you get by with reading it."

Rikku was so excited about being noticed that it took her a moment for the rest of Zidane's words to sink in. "Wait... we have to recite? Noooo! I'm no good at that!" she whined a little... just a little.
Turning back to Paine, she pouted a bit. "But... it'll be fun!" Back to Zidane: "Whatcha got for us?"

She took the packet from Zidane and walked to the stage and opened it to a random poem. With one arm crossing her chest in a "I realy don't want to do this" kind of way, she started to read.
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...." Her voice was flat and bored, and it took a lot for her to not make a face of disgust. Of all the poems she had to read ( ... )

She realized that someone was reading and actually she was pretty good. She sat next to giving a silent hello and listened. She seemed very uninterested but Aerith was still intrigued nonethless. When she was done, Aerith was going to applause for encouragement, when the girl rushed off stage.

"Uh..ok! That's great! I was just gonna volunteer too" as Aerith practically jumped out of her series and jumped on stage to.
"Alright here I go.." Aerith said to herself, Aerith turned serious but calm as she spoke the words she had came to memorize.
"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
She thought as she spoke them aloud she thought they had more meaning. She gave a slight bow and said a thank you as she graciously walked off stage, since she didn't want to take too much of the class' time.
