Disappointing, But Not Surprizing
So, today I ended the longest friendship of my adult life. It was finalized over something annoying but stupid and both parties over-reacted but it was not the root cause. The root cause is that my friend is not the same person that he was five years ago and I am not fond of the person that he has become. He could probably say the same thing about me. It's sad when two people change to the point where they have little to nothing in common any more but it is also part of life.
