Ho Ho Ho Circuit City sucks.

This is basically the EXACT same thing I just went through -

I am very displeased with the customer service that I have received in the last 12 hours. I went to the Huntington Beach store last nite (12/06/07) to purchase a Laptop computer for my daughter. During the process I tried to use use a gift card of $50.00 I had received for taking a Health servey online thu my work. I had received the ecard Card (# 86753092005, pin # 2112). thru email. It was denied after waiting 20 mins to find out why it couldn't be used, Richard (customer service rep) told me that it had to be activated and told me to call the # on the front of the egift card,1-800-843-2488. So I finished my purchase of the Laptop, took my egift card and went on my way. When I got home I call the ph number listed on the egift card and first spoke to a Cherry, after a 20 min conversation and being put on hold for another 15 min I was disconnected. After that, I called again and spoke to a Cristeen, I ask to speak to a manager or floor supervisor. She put me on hold for another 20 mins, again I was disconnected.. I called back and was given another Ph # to call. (1-888-695-4880. Called this # and spoke to an Alfonso. after speaking to Alfonso for 15 mins. I was given another # 1-800-251-2665. I called that # and spoke to Jade, after speaking to Jade for about 10 min. I ask to speak to a floor superviser. Waited on hold for 10 to 15 mins. and was Disconnected again.. I called back and spoke to stephine. after speaking to her for 15 mins. I was put on hold for another 15 mins. After she came back online She said that she had put in 2 request for supervisors and no response..
I DONT THINK THIS COMPLANING WILL DO ANY GOOD.. I'm a nobody, But I will tell you this.. I now put Circuit City in the same class as Frys as far as customer service and they are one of the worse..

The ironic thing was I was watching the Nets game last night and they had a Fox report on how CC's stock is down and Best Buy's is up some crazy number like 50%...all correlating directly to customer service. UGH. Happy Holidays.
