Good afternoon to you and yours. I hope all of you havent missed me too much....but I must say the past two months have been filled with a lot of DOING, which for me, was a very much needed break from everyday shizzle. Time to touch on the higher points and hit you guys with some pixies.
Type your cut contents here. March was great. Last I left you I had just went to the City to watch the Chinese New Year Parade.
On the heals of this trip was yet another trip to The City, as Joval, Hanna and Myself went on a voyage. Our mission? Illegal baby ugueis. For the longest it was my plan to get Ddong-seh one for our bday, but during the trip on Chinese New Year we didnt have time...so after Joval and HK and I went and stopped by Willies to make sure my car was ok for the trip to L.A (more on that later) we headed into China Town!
We found a shop called Mona Risa. Hahaha.
The search was pretty draining. Most people in Chinatown know that they are illegal, and therefore wont tell you the hotspots for em. I must have asked 40 plus people for "Uguei" to no avail.......after probs 2 hours of searching, we were ready to give up. Joval wanted to stop and get some Boba drink, and so we did. In there, I talked to the dude over the counter and he actually spoke english pretty well. He explained the secret to getting them (IM me if you want the secret) and off we raced.
At the secret spot, I talked to the guy and asked if they had any baby turtles. He did shifty-eyes, and replied "Baby turtles?" and then went into a secret compartment and pulled out a BUCKET of em all crammed togeja. Pretty persangheh. I picked out one for little one Jenn, a spotted shelled one for my brother since its his bday too, and one big one for myself. Joval and Hanna each got one too.
Clockwise from the bottom. Hanna's (Paco) Jasons (The pretty big one with a bright shell and really dark/defined lines is Cowabunga Carl) Jenns (Standing up is Bill Slowsky) Joes (By its lonesone is Michaelangelo) and last is Jovals dinky Pepperoni Green.
Heres a clearer picture of them (Minus Joe's who is back in Fremont)
Pepperoni on top, Paco, and Bill with Carl down in the water.
And heres a look at how small they are by comparison. Pepperoni in JB's hand
Crazy, no?

After we got back from SF, it was time to go to the movies!
You all remember my livejournal update on why Donatello is cool.....which brings us to....
The TMNT Movie that came out on March 23rd. Wow, Im definately lagging on posts as Im sure most of you turtle maniacs out there saw it. Either way, all of us really enjoyed the movie, and I guess having fun is what counts. It brought us back to our child hoods and the animation was bomb. Go ninja go ninja go!
After this we came back to my house and I opened up my presents!
Oh...did I mention we dressed up for the movie? Yeeeah boy!
Leonardo, Defacto Leader of the Ninja Turtles fresh back from his trip to train in Central America.
Donatello. The brains of the operation, happy to reunite with his brothers in order to kick some Archaic monster butt!
Raphael. The Rebel. New York City be prepared, for this Green Machine shows no remorse for the underbelly of society!
Oh MIkey!
Cowabunga!
Ecclectic!
And thank you for all the gifts everyone, Loved them fosho. Needless to say Jenn liked her turtle...even if it has eye problems and cant swim anymore.

Had to return back to Davis so Annie and I could head to LA for my birthday!
Annie said it would only take four hours. She lied. It took almost 6ish.....and she also said shed drive half of the time. She lied again. She drove for the first hour and I drove the rest! Grrrr...but after long long roadtrip we finally made it, and Lisa was nice enough to let us crash at her apartment. Buttercup, who was a wonderful hostess, took us to Santa Monica on Saturday where we got to watch Germans throw their kids in the air to show off their acrobatic skillz, and watch homies break in the streets. And we went to the pier too and took pictures, just like Santa Cruz.
Saturday night, on whim, the three of us went to go watch Dane Cook at the Laugh Factory!
If you don't know, Dane Cook is a comedian whom all should Youtube. Pretty much all of the opening acts were on point and really really funny, and Dane Cook had all new material that made us roflmao.
Funny ass Mofo.
And then at the end they had a session where it was open mic and if you had funny jokes you could come up and do your thang......
Naturally I scared blew them away.
Homie took the picture when I wasnt ready but it kinda came out cool anyways.
Awesome fun times.
And the next day was the Basketball Game!
Awesome seats! Got there early so we could take lots of pictures. I would also like to thank my cousin Rich for the Monta Ellis Jersey. Go Monta!
They actually sell that pink Lakers jersey at Staples too....but I got it a lot cheaper at my work!
Lakers and Warriors warming up for the game! I actually got to go up to the sideline and hold my sign up for the Warriors. All of them read it and pumped fists at me in recognition. Best feeling ever.
Make that freethrow Monta. Thanks for a wonderful Fantasy Basketball season. You did me good.
Some pictures after the game.
We believe!

That was March in a Nutshell
April Included a Studio Session with D.N.E and "Saucy", as well as Jacob's Baptism and A trip to Arco Arena for a Kings vs Warriors game!
What a game, what a game! As I was passing through the halls, a Kings fan said "Is this a Warriors home game?" There were sooooo many Dubs heads in attendance, and it felt so good to cheer the team on. At the end, as Kings fans were leaving, the house roared with "Let's go Warriors!" chants. My hands were raw from clapping so much and my voice gone. Love it!
And if you havent heard yet....the Warriors are in the playoffs.....and even more to update....their doing
big things in the playoffs! Baron Davis is a effing G.
Speaking of Davis...the UC Davis Badminton Tournament is being held this weekend, and Joval and I are playing Bs and Cs. Wish us luck!
Updates on the resurgeance of Duels in our lives a bit later....
Thanks for tuning in.
