Saiyuki fanfiction competition at Echoes of the West
elvaron/sf is celebrating the new year at the Saiyuki fanfiction archive, Echoes to the West, with its first fanfic contest. Details can be read here. There are 130+ fics to look through during the nomination period (up through Feb. 28), and if you have a story you wish to put up, you can still do so all the way up to the end of that deadline to be qualified. Voting on the nominations will go from March 1-19.
Have a favorite writer? Want to put your stories in the running? Definitely check it out. (sf has also kindly put up prizes for the winners and runners-up in each category.)
***Although I like to think everyone writing is a winner, especially if they enjoy sharing their work. sf's contest is a fun way to give appreciation to writers whose work you've enjoyed. Unfortunately, there are some writers whose work I very much love who I can not vote for because they are not (yet...?) archived there. (J, incandescens, mikeneko, Aki, Kanzeon- my squinty look is towards you.)
