In 2 months Sherlock could make her a junior partner in the firm - or just have her as one of his regular contacts. Payment in being allowed to put on the coat once in a while.

Right? Just from her current job, she could be quite a useful contact. And who wouldn't hand over some info if it meant getting to wear The Coat for a while?

What a great angle for the prompt. I like her observations especially: Genuine fur. Genuine vintage. Faux blonde. Also, your cadence is good that I did not realise it was a 221B until I re-read the title block.
