Co-Authorship

An interesting task ahead of the class this week - co-authorship. Not something I've done before, and a challenge, really, because everything about the process becomes a process of negotiation. Still, we're all grown-ups here, so we should be fine. If anyone's likely to throw a strop and throw their bananas out of the pram with a loud dammit, it'll probably be the monkey.

Anyway. The basic idea is to write a collaborative piece by four authors; apart from myself, my co-conspirators in this endevour are Celaen Chapman, Jack Henry, and Paul Wagner. Now, the basic idea of the piece is to write in the form of successive personal ads, 'transcripts' of the replies received. In terms of format, I'm going to present it in the next post, with the original ad appearing as a reply, and the transcripts appearing as threads under each one. This means I'm going to have to ask people not to reply to it, as I'll be removing any posts that aren't part of the piece. If you do want to comment, please feel free to reply to this post.

Right. To quote Celaed - "let gamescommence..."
