I saw the two of them in the commons room right before Hinata tackle hugged me. They were just talking, but still. Just seeing him near Garnet is driving me nuts.
But it's not like I have any claim to her; heck, I'm a guy she's seen in a few plays who gave her a tour around the school. And joked about naked women in public. Yeah, THAT was real smooth. (Blank is NEVER hearing about that if I have anything to say about it.)
What am I going to do? If I go pick a fight with Shin, Garnet's probably just going to think I'm a jerkwad. Heck, it might have the opposite effect and just make her feel sorry for him. She's just amazing a nice person like that.
I've gotta make her like me first. But I guess all I can really do is be my usual, charming self and try to hang out with her as much as possible. (At least there's no Rusty hanging around the school.) I'd try to be extra good, but I don't know how long I'd be able to keep that up for. Besides, she'd just get mad when she found out I wasn't acting 'normal' the whole time. >_>
Maybe I can tutor her in Muggle Studies or something. And maybe I could try being civil to Shin easing off on (most) of my pranks. Hmm . . . *rubs chin and sets to plotting*
Maybe if I try hard enough she'll reward me with a kiss . . . ♥

((Thus, Zidane will be acting pretty much like his normal self around Garnet, only with an extra eye on his manners and comments about women. :D; And he'll be a bit more chivalrous to everyone now, not just girls and cute little kids. XD He'll try to act normal around Shin as long as Garnet's looking, and won't be overtly hostile towards him, but as soon as she looks away the two are going to start a glaring match.
