(no subject)
La La La....
So much to write about, yet I've been sitting here for 10 mins listening to High Way (Thanks Ten... I've only just gotten to actually listen to this properly and it's good!), yet I can't think of what to write, or where to start.
I should start with the obvious thing going on lately. The House.....
We have a house.... it's pretty cool. Heaps old style, yet nice. Which is what I love.
The 2nd bedroom even has a loft bed! It's awesome!
We'll be living round the corner from Jen and Callen, which will be cool. Haven't really had friends close by since I was in Primary School. So that'll be a new thing.
Anyway, we're moving next Saturday 2nd September.
I've already started taking apart furniture and packing stuff cause I'm really hoping to move 99% of stuff on the Saturday since Sunday is Fathers Day and I need to be doing family type stuff.
As usual, any help on Saturday will be greatly appreciated and rewarded at the housewarming.
I also would love for 2 peeps, if they have time, to help me move about things on Kim's storage shed so I can get the sideboard and hutch and the fridges out. (Callen? Ten?)
Payment for this task will be a little more then the succullent steaks others will recieve for just helping in the move.
I'm thinking food + drink of choice as Kim tells me it's no small task because the fridges are convienently placed at the rear of the shed :(
Anyway, yeah... so moving....
And work....
I got a semi-promotion. I am now the Streets CSR Supervisor. Or Head Van Driver.
Not much more then what I was doing anyway. It's just someone to check in with down the chain of the Sales Manager and Rep both aren't available. And I am currently learning the Streets computer system. Shit of a a thing it is. Windows based, but retains none of the Windows functions that make everyday computer life easy.
As soon as I started learning it, I realised why the tech centre is in India. Cause it was obvioulsy wirtten in an entirely different language.
Thing that really makes me chuffed about learning the system is though, neither of the previous Sales Managers (Streets or Bidvest) and none of the curret ones have ever known how to work the system cause none of them had the computer knowledge. Hopedully a sign of better things to come for me!
