So stupid
uggggggggggggggggggggggh. So me in all my wisdom decided that for my Communication and Culture e-journal i would deconstruct some videos/songs that claim to have a feminist agenda but undermine it with a bunch of other conventional bullshit. So i chose two videos by The Pussycat Dolls...'Don't Cha'...and 'Beep'...I have listened to these songs like TWENTY TIMES EACH today and i feel like blowing my brains out. Whilst it's was good idea, i think i underestimated the effect it would have on my sainty. And in addition to that (the topic is about representations of black female sexuality, i chose The Pussycat Dolls because the lead singer (and one of the other members) is black and is given the most camera time), i then had to combat this so-called feminism with videos/songs of equal shitness but with a more positive message, which is why i have just spent the last half hour listening to Destiny's Child: Independent Woman.
...Kill me.
My tutor is going to think i have such shit taste in music. lol.
Anyway, seeing as i wasted yesterday and today on this i at least think i did a fairly good job.
