Still trying to find a job with this god forsaken degree. B.I.O. is apparently posting some internships soon. Environment Canada as well. Have got to get me some of that action. Just had a weird urge and had to post on my old journal.

I wonder if anyone uses this stuff anymore...

I'll be done in October! Finishing up my minor in Philosophy. I'm all lonely and stuff now that everyone's graduated ahead of me. All my classmates were born in the 1990's. :O

Congratulations! It'll be great to finish up and take whatever will be your next step. :) Hard to believe you'll be finished your degree already. Time has been flying. I've been married for THREE YEARS already. WTF.

I'm still trying to find work in Biology here in Halifax. There's not a lot in the way of jobs and it is VERY competitive. I'm trying to keep my chin up though. I plan on working for a year and maybe returning to do my MSc.

How's the weather in the Philippines?

Bright in the mornings but turns gloomy in the afternoons. At night rain falls real hard real quickly -- the stuff of flash floods. Miserable! How's the weather in the northern hemisphere?

Three years marriage, though! All I got in terms of commitment is a boyfriend who's managed to last ten months. It's an admirable feat, so you can imagine how the thought of three years marriage blows my mind. :)

Weather here is warm and muggy. 20 - 25 degrees. I don't find it too enjoyable, but I'll get used to it. I'm a winter person in that my body seems well adjusted to freezing temps. I'm a summer person in that I love to do the outdoors camping, swimming, etc thing! Luckily, here in the Maritimes of Atlantic Canada, we don't worry about things like flash floods. Just late summer/early autumn hurricanes.

Three years goes VERY quickly. Keep in mind that Meg and I were engaged after only 1 year! We moved mighty quickly. :P Life is about risk-taking.

I'm making strawberry shortcake for Meg and I! It's strawberry season finally here so I've got shortcake in the oven. Make some strawberry shortcake!
