Alright, so it's been quite a while since I've updated my good ol' live journal...but I'm sure no one's been on the edge of their seats waiting in anticipation to hear the day by day (or month by month in my slackerish case) events of my life...But you're going to anyway! :)
Things have been rather eventful and not at the same time. I had a nice conversation with Jonika about Summer and whatnot, and I can definitely relate to her situation. It seems as though if I'm not in classes I'm at work, and if I'm not at work I'm usually doing homework. My summer isn't really much of a summer at all! But, I am making money and I am getting horrid classes out of the way, so I can't really complain to much. The only thing that is hard is that I basically live with Mike and I barely see him. It's a very odd situation.
Anyway, I'm in the process of moving in with miss Lindsay Jacobsen and I could NOT be more excited. My room is small, but I'm used to it and rent is CHEAP! I'm moving out of the "North of campus" area where they exile a majority of the college students living off-campus, so it should be MUCH quieter. Honestly, I'm not one to turn down a party, or get upset when neighbors throw a party, but when it happens nearly every other day and it results in drunken cell conversations and puking outside my window (ON A TUESDAY NO LESS!), then I tend to get a little cranky. Call me a fuddy-duddy (which is a word I think should be used entirely more often anyway:)!) but when I have to get up at 6AM to go to work in the mornings, I don't like being kept up until 2 or 3. BUT that's all done with (or so I hope), so no worries!
I'm heading down to Mt. Hood next weekend for Mike's birthday. Him, Stephen and Jeremy are doing the Timberline Trail (42MI) in one day. I think they're insane, but whatever floats their boat...I'm staying at basecamp and drinking beer and eating shmallows. BUT I think we're gonna head down through the Portland area for a day or so and check things out...SOOO if anyone who is in the general Portland area (AKA THE 'COUVE) and would like to get together next weekend, please let me know because I would loooove to see you (DANIEL POFF)...
Mike's cousins Jessi and Sammie are in town for a couple of weeks from Georgia. They seem to be having a good time, I just hope they don't get too bored when Mike or I are in class or working or some such nonsense. Today seems to entail classes, moving, and maybe a hike...I dunno, we'll see:) I gotta go do some homework though, if anyone wants to hang out, give me a call!
