Today is danger, danger Will Robinson Wednesday. Every Wednesday morning these delicious donuts appear in our common kitchen, and they smell so good, and look even better, and it’s just very difficult for me to resist. However, I went to get coffee this morning and I smelt that lovely smell, but then suddenly my stomach kicked and the lovely smell turned into a nauseating smell. Interesting. I guess I’m sticking with my toast and homemade banana bread after all.

I’ve had a lot on my mind these past couple of weeks. I don’t know if I’m still recovering from Thanksgiving, but it feels like my head is just clogged and I don’t want to work at all. I have a routine that every morning I come in, drop off my stuff at my desk, grab coffee and return back to my desk to check my personal emails, Myspace, Facebook, etc etc. This usually isn’t a problem because then I’m able to break away from web surfing and start earning my paycheck, but lately I’ve just wanted to sit here and play. I think its official that I just do my work too quickly and find that I have a lot of downtime. Should I ask for more things to do? Karen is pretty self-sufficient (which is why I like her so much) so I don’t really see myself doing too much more. Hmmmm….what’s a girl to do?

I also haven’t been able to get back into the exercising routine. My friend and I walk for 30 min everyday after lunch, but I don’t feel like it’s enough. Maybe I should lift soup cans while watching TV at night (thanks for the idea, Jenn)? Or maybe I should buy a jump rope and do that for a little bit before work in the morning? I’m trying to think of new and exciting ways to get in shape. Tonight I’m going to go to dance class and make a fool outta myself. As long as I make funny faces and laugh, I don’t feel so un-coordinated!

Sorry I don’t have much to say. I got some bad news from Andrea this morning - EDD, a.k.a. unemployment, will be holding all industry/strike related claims for a while, so neither she nor Mike will have an income. It’s bad enough that they’re out of work, but they have to pay for a wedding! And now with Christmas just around the corner? Ugh…this strike is ruining everything :(

Well, I guess I should at least try to earn my check today. Hope all is well elsewhere!
