I have been in japan for about 2 weeks now. I was supposed to be on a plane on my way home now, but i ended up having to stay an extra week. So far things have been about as I expected. If you get the chance, I suggest a quick weekend trip to Sicily. Head over to Siracusa, Palermo, Messina or Agrigento! Loads of good food, wine and history from just about every era known. Screw Rome! Go, Sicilia!
