It's been a while livejournal. Shit is getting real. I'm less than two months from having a Master's degree. Val and I got a pug pup. We named him Miles. He can kind of be seen below. I've been insanely busy as of late. Between full time work, full time school and an internship, I don't have much time to relax. What time I have had to relax, I've spent watching movies. Ridiculous amounts of movies. Val and I got a new TV and she bought me a blu-ray player for Christmas, so I've been taking full advantage of this. At my internship, I've been doing children's programming, reading and singing songs to pre-schoolers. Never in my dreams did I think I'd be doing this, but it's alright. I really hope to find a new job and a new place to live by my birthday this year. I've been feeling pretty sad about the fact that I have no true friends up here in Buffalo. For the first time in my life, the people I hang out with occasionally I would consider acquaintances. Not to say they aren't friends, but the friends I know best I used to hang out with every day, day after day. This doesn't happen now, partially because my best friends live far away now and partially because haven't had much time to hang out with anyone. I can not fucking wait for the day I don't have to go to class and work at a fucking grocery store anymore. I just shipped out a record I co-released with a German record label for one of my favorite bands ever. Who knew I could do such a thing?
