Today was the end of springbreak. It was not a very good springbreak, as I had to work everyday at 6 in the morning. I did end up hanging out with my family for a couple days because it was my dad's b-day, which was fun. Last night Rachel and Emily came over and it was a pretty good time. We took pictures and they attemped to play with the gyroscope, which they failed at, which was super funny. Just got the new Kylesa record. It is so great. I'm pretty stoked for it to come in the mail. Val and I went to see Watchmen today. Everything about it was stellar, accept the music. Not only were they inappropriate for what was happening (in most cases), but were they mixed terribly. This ruined the overall mood of the movie. It took a pretty dark movie and tried to make it a summer blockbuster type of movie, which it wasn't meant to be. Other than that, I have no complaints. The characters were portrayed soundly and the story was maintained well, although I have read the book. I'm not sure it would translate as well to the average viewer. Yesterday before leaving for home I decided to check out my brakes to see if I could tell how bad they are because I knew I needed new ones. I found they have huge grooves in the drums. Not good.
