Saw National Treasure tonite. Was entertaining. Nothing oscar worthy but some cool ideas. Makes me more excited for the DaVinci Code movie. $18.50 for tix and $9.25 for popcorn and a drink is getting a bit ridiculous tho. I've got surround sound, a microwave and a fridge, all I'm missing is the 50" TV and I might give up on theatres all together. The "experience" at home is becoming much closer to the one at the theatre for the fraction of the price.
Saw a trailer for Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Well i guess you can call it a trailer, more of an ad, no footage yet. I hope its as entertaining as the books. First pics are surfaceing of Charlize Theron playing Aeon Flux. I dug this cartoon a ton and hope they dont screw it up. The first look picture already has me a bit worried since the costume is really nowhere close to the cartoon. We'll see i guess. I was never even quite sure of the plot in the cartoon and it would be cool if the movie made just as little sense :D
