(no subject)
Jonas and I got up this morning and decided to take a long walk to the store (about 1 1/2 miles round trip). We didn't walk through the damaged area because I figured people were still getting things cleaned up, as city trucks were clearing the roadway yesterday. When I got onto the main street of the neighborhood there was a man getting out of an SUV. I always wave at people. He waved back and started asking me about the storm. Turns out he's a cameraman for KSAT 12 and asked if he could interview me. I said sure even though I hadn't had a shower, had no make up on and looked like crap. I was going for a walk you know. So maybe I can see if there is a clip n the internet after it airs (at noon and then again in the evening).
Then on the way back, about 45 minutes later, I saw a cameraman and I thought it was the same one at first but this was for Telamundo. They asked if I spoke Spanish, but I don't. They were on the wrong street so I took them to the heavily damaged street and to a couple of houses where I know the people speak Spanish but no one was home. They were taking a while and it was getting hot but said they still wanted to interview me so I gave them my address and we'll see if they come by or not. It was just getting too hot for Jonas out there (and me too).
