I miss sleeping on my stomach. I try, but it just doesn't work out.

Sleeping is becoming more difficult even with a body pillow. My hips hurt if I lay on one side or the other too long so each time I get up to pee (which is a lot) I switch sides. Sometimes I manage to end up on my back which is not good and I wake up in pain in my  (very) lower back (actually my butt really). It's my sciatic nerve. But as soon as I switch positions or get up the pain is gone. Getting up out of bed is fun too. hahaha.  More like rolling out. Also sometimes I catch glimpses of myself in the mirror when I'm getting dressed for work. It's quite a hilarious sight. Putting on underwear and socks has become a huge undertaking. I get winded quickly.

Ed and I went to our child birth class today. It was very informative and went quickly considering we got there at 9am and left just before 4pm. It was scheduled until 5pm but we covered everything at a good pace and brought our lunch back to the classroom and ate while we learned so that cut out extra time. We learned birthing positions, massage and breathing and just overall what to expect. The class was interesting (even for Ed).

Tomorrow I'm going to my parent's for a bit. I'm not sure if Ed is going. I know I'm not going the whole time/game. They are having a Super Bowl Party/Chili Cook Off again. They just bought a 60" tv and want to show it off and of course everyone wants me to bartend. I'll prolly leave right after half time.

On Monday I'm leaving work early because I have several appointments. The first is to meet our pediatrician. We were originally going to use our regular doctor since she does well baby appointments but she doesn't come to  the hospital for the initial baby check up  (and the baby has to be checked by a pediatrician before he can leave) and she doesn't do circumcisions (which I'm still on the fence about). So I asked my OB/GYN to recommend a pediatrician and he suggested this one and she's in the same building, on our insurance plan, will come to the hospital and does circumcisions. So I'm going to ask her about the circumcision and other just general info from her/about her. It's basically a meet and greet. Technically I/we don't even have to meet her before hand all we have to do is put her name on our paperwork saying she's our pediatrician and she'll show up. I feel weird about that and would at least prefer to meet her once before then.

The second appointment is a check up. It will be my first vaginal exam and then I will going in every week for one until the baby is born. The last appointment is in the evening, it's a re-schedule of my lactation class since the other one was canceled because of the "ARCTIC BLAST!!!!" we had a few weeks back.

Things are up coming quickly. Next Saturday we have a 3 hr "You and Your Baby" class and then on Sunday is the shower. The last class we have is not until Wed Feb 28th which is a car seat class (installation and such). I had to wait until after the show for that class since  we are getting the seat from my parents as a gift.

My last day of work is Friday Mar 2nd...if I make it that far. We'll see. I keep telling Mo he'd better be prepared because when the baby's ready to go that's it and it can happen any day now, really.
