We've been living in this house for a year and a half and in that time we've only hung up 3 pictures/prints, all in the dining room. We have a lot of stuff to put up but I've always been unsure where I wanted things to hang and didn't want to put a bunch of holes all over the walls but today I decided I was tired of the bare walls so we put up a bunch of stuff. I'm not completely happy but it's a lot better than naked walls. In our bedroom the wall behind our bed is a dark charcoal grey. We hung up a bunch of star mirrors. One like this:
and 4 smaller 5 point stars. I want to get another one like the pictured one but can't find one. We also hung up a picture in the bathroom, two collage frames (that have nothing in them yet) and a couple of Dali prints in the dining room. Still don't have anything in the living room. :(
We went to Sweet Repeats and got this baby jogger/stroller for only $59:
It's in great shape and just needs a little maintenance, like adjusting the brake lever and a little cleaning. Good thing I married a bike guy. :) It'll be good for when the baby is about a year and we can use it until he's4 or so.
We had already gotten a changing table/dresser from there for $69 a week ago or so. It looks a little like this:
Except there is only one long drawer with 2 open shelves underneath and the right side is one tall cabinet, not a cabinet with a drawer on top. They have good deals there on furniture and such but their clothing is a little expensive considering it's used. I can find new stuff on clearance for only a dollar or 2 more. I did buy a little jumper for the baby for the summer though because it was in great shape and too cute.
We went to World Market and found some picture frames and a velvet curtain on clearance and these animals:
We got the frog and the elephant. :D I didn't think Ed would want to get both but he thought they were cute too. We might go back tomorrow and buy a wine/buffet they had on clearance.
We also went to Borders and got some kids books. They were buy 3 get the 4th free, plus they were already discounted. One is for Amber since her birthday is coming up soon. I don't want to get so caught up in getting baby stuff that I forget about her birthday. I also got her 2 tickets to Disney's Princess on Ice
I prolly won't be able to take her because it's in the beginning of April, but she's really into the whole princess thing right now so I thought it would be a great gift.
