New Meme! Everyone do it now!

1. Stop stuffing your face with the raspberry cheesecake, put down the P-vibes, quit pleasuring your dog, and go back ten exact entries in your journal. On the tenth entry, click on the first person's LJ username to comment on that entry. If you don't have any comments, toss yourself in the river as you'll never amount to anything.
2. Go to this person's userinfo page, and laugh at how obnoxiously dull their bio is. Then click the third person from the end of their friends list. Again, if you don’t have three friends listed, then you probably didn't have a comment on that tenth entry from #1. I told you to fucking toss yourself in the river. Did you miss that?
3. You should be at a second LJ user's info page now. Copy this person's LJ username and just enter it on Google Images, and do a search for whatever atrocious pictures that Google will find related to the name. Post the second picture that comes up in your journal along with these really wacky instructions. If nothing comes up, pick the fourth person from the end of the friends list from Step 2, and repeat as necessary.
4. Then the people on your friends list can comment on your journal and talk as much shit about the picture as possible. Make fun of EVERYTHING about it. Go!Friday was nice. Lunch didn't seem busy at all but we rang quite a bit. I guess because everything went smoothly. Now Saturday is a whole nother story and I don't feel like writing about it.

Friday night Ed and I headed to St. Mary's Uni for Oyster Bake, We met my parents, sister, niece, Karen and Steve there. It was a good time. It wasn't too packed where we were but the area by the big stage (when most of the beer booths are) was packed. We didn't know the bands that were playing there so we stayed mainly by the oldies stage and occasionally went to the jazz stage. We saw the local band Los No. 3 Dinners. They're an old garage band. My parents didn't really like them. My dad said they played their instruments well but had no voice. I guess they're used to playing small places like Taco Land. They do have a pretty big following here. Between bands Audrey, mom and I took Amber to the carnival and kiddie rides. She went on the space ship with mom and clung on for dear life. This is the girl who wants to jump off the roof. She's going through some kind of fear stage right now. I went with her on the huge slide (the one you ride down on burlap sacks on). She's been on them before at Wurstfest last Novemeber, even on her own sack with me in the lane next to her, but this time as soon as she got to the top she said she didn't want to do it and clung on to the rail. I plopped her in my lap and quickly sped down the slide with her screaming the whole way down. Poor thing. She was fake crying when we got off though. After that we didn't go on anymore rides and headed back to the oldies stage to watch the Turtles. You know the band that sang Day Dream Believer. Oh wait, that was the Monkees. I mean So Happy Together. At least the Turtles played their own instruments. They put on a great show actually. The music was good and they were entertaining/funny in between songs as well.

After the music ended there was one helluva fireworks display. One the of the best ones I've ever seen I think. It wasn't that it was so long or well timed to music, but the finale' was just impressive and overwhelming. So many fireworks. It was great.

Ed and I still had a couple of tickets left so we stopped at the carnival since it was near our exit gate and Ed won me a stuffed lizard. I guess those seasons on dart league paid off.

Today I'm going with my family to the Ft Sam Fiesta Extravaganza. We'll see if their fireworks display measures up. Ed's prolly not going. He wants to go ride since he didn't yesterday, but it's quarter to 12 and he's napping on the couch in front of the TV. I think I'm going to bring Obi with me. I would bring Aurra too, but 2 dogs are hard to handle and Aurra is definitely a handful all on her own. She's also not as good with people. She barks and yips and I don't think she'll settle down the entire time. Obi on the other hand is mellow and super friendly. He'll want to play but he'll be okay on a tether or just laying on the blanket while we're picnicing. I really wish Ed would come. I know he gets bored with my family get togethers all the time but I just find days like today relaxing. I love that I'm so close with my family. We don't always get along or agree but we love spending time together. I think it's weird that Ed (or others) aren't close with their own families. And it's not that Ed's family isn't social, they are. Well his parents are anyway.
