So I just got back from seeing my Retinologist Dr. Scales. He was able to get the results back from the MRI of my spine since I am not going to see Dr. Kempf until January. Good news and bad news. Good news, I don't have the auto-immune disease Ankylosing Spondylitis. Which means my vertebrae are not fusing together. Bad news, still don't know the cause of all this. So I guess that means I do not get to go on the less harsh chemo every 6 mo (or self injections every 2-3 weeks). Not sure what's going to happen with my chemo. It's up to Dr. Kempf and I don't see him for another month. At least I'm at every 4 weeks instead of every 3 now. Dr. Scales said that the inside of my eye looks good. No cells. Hopefully it will stay that way and I can talk Dr. Kempf into doing chemo every 6 months. Or at least let me off it long enough to get pregnant and have one baby.
