Krisp-a-licous
Went to the doctor's again. Got blood drawn again. Got a once over by the doc. Woo hoo! They still don't know what's up. Feel nauseated from the meds. But I've got Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!!!
As far as the rest of the day went, it was pretty good. Ed and I went to lunch at Bennigan's. I went to Best Buy and got the extended 5 disk Lord of the Rings set on sale for $49. I can't really afford it but sometimes you've got to spoil yourself. It has a free movie ticket to the next film: The Two Towers. I can't wait until December!! It also has the Argonath bookends. They are sooooo cool. I am such a geek! I still haven't even opened it yet because I want to watch it uninterrupted and I had plans for tonight already.
Ed and I went for a bike ride to Sam's Burger Joint to watch an amateur film fest. We didn't find out about it until it was too late to submit a film otherwise Ed would have. These films were bad. Some had potential but were either too drawn out or they had no point (or not one that we discovered). There were a couple that started off decently enough but just ended poorly. Most had no point, no story, bad filming, and bad editing. There was one that was a spoof of horror films and it was funny, but again it took too long and ended badly. But we still had fun. Ed and I have been spending more and more time together, and it's wonderful. I guess it's the one good thing about me getting sick, it's brought us a lot closer. Ed is a very quiet and shy person. Even around me. And he is not a very huggy kind of person, which 5 years ago was hard for me but I got used to it. He's been so amazing lately. I am soo happy with us.
